September is National Recovery Month. Hundreds of people are in recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction, people just like you and me. Together we will join family members, friends, and allies to walk in The Second Annual 3K Recovery Walk SA & Family Fun Day at historical Brackenridge Park.

You have the potential to make a difference. Recovery from addiction is a reality in our lives, and active participation in this walk can help transform public policy and alter the stereotypes surrounding addiction.

On Saturday, September 27th, 2008, join us at the Koehler Pavilion in Brackenridge Park, next to the Zoo, along with hundreds of individuals who will offer themselves as living proof that RECOVERY is REAL.

Recovery Month observances are held nationwide to provide awareness and offer hope that treatment really does work. San Antonio Fighting Back, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency, along with other partnering agencies, is proud to sponsor this walk in support of recovery.

San Antonio Fighting Back, Inc. is also seeking sponsorship for this event. A donation of in-kind services or cash at any level is greatly appreciated and is tax deductible. Please view the sponsorship levels and register your donation.
