Databases

Databases– There are many different databases out there. Each has good qualities. The most popular professional databases are Act, Access, SQL, and FileMaker. The advantage of using a database also allows you to move data without having to re-enter it. However, it may make sense to use more than one vendor or maybe just different solutions to create your workflow.

  • Our Database of Choice– FileMaker is our choice in databases. FileMaker makes designing easier and provides very powerful tools to help make the end user interface user friendly. Most importantly it's a cross-platform solution, so it works on Windows, Macintosh and Web with less effort. We can either design the solution for you or help you learn how to do the design and maintenance yourself. Need billions of recrods, you can use FileMaker as your front end for an SQL or Oracle database. We also support Act, Access and SQL on a limited basis.
